I've ran 1911 platforms for years in both my professional and recreational life. Wilson Combat Magazines are a necessary component to run a 1911 effectively and reliably. I own several ranging from Full-Size to Compact. These magazines will feed ammo reliably after they are dropped in mud, dirt, sand etc. The secret is in the superior spring and follower design. Most places are drying up where you can find these magazines. Alpha Ops was the only one offering it at a decent price, including shipping.
