If you like the reach around then you don't need this. However, if reach arounds are not your thing, get the B.A.D. Lever from Magpul as it'll help with mag changes as well as failure troubleshooting.

The Magpul BAD™ (Battery Assist Device) is a screw-on addition for the standard AR15/M16 bolt catch. Designed to enhance the speed and efficiency of weapon reloads and malfunction clearance, the BAD™ enables manipulation of the bolt catch using the right-hand trigger finger without moving the shooter’s hand away from fire control/ready position. The BAD™ attaches to the standard AR15/M16 bolt catch without modification via backplate and mounting screw. Textured surface and exposed lower bolt catch allows for traditional manipulation of bolt catch.
